French legal fees
The legal fees or French conveyancing costs are the
fees paid to the French Notaire.
In the case of new build property purchased off-plan,
the legal fees are not included in the price and are
additional. They are however much reduced and
range between 2.5% and 4% (compared to 6% to 10%
for an older property).
These fees are paid to the Notaire in France when signing
the Deed of Sale.
